Filters.

Early morning rainstorm.

I’m not afraid to say I use some filters when it comes to my photo edits.

A little bit of L03, a dash of A03 on an image which is a darker. Sometimes a little noir goes a long way. Nothing serious (imo). I’ve seen filters go way off. Too much HDR. Or too much black and white. Honestly, I can’t really complain because 1. it would be pot calling the kettle black and 2. who cares if you add filters to your images? It your work right? Purists have an anxiety attack and the pro-filter gang wants to commit hara-kiri if you say anything against filters.

I always wanted to have a simple (DIY) type filter. Cellophane popped into my mind. And earlier today a search gave me some more ideas. But this week I found something which I have been experimenting with for my photos. I found a piece of red plastic which I help up in front of my phone camera as well as my XE-2.
