Outside the window.

Outside the window.

Twenty past seven.

Give or take a few seconds. Outside the window where my desk is there is a signal tower. Its light at the top a little beacon as the sun sets. I was thinking of taking a few photos earlier today and this scene presented itself through a half open window. The temperatures have been quite high during the last few days. Nothing record breaking but 28°C (82.4F) isn’t that cool. Autumn is a long way off and temperatures can go as high as 35°C (95F).

Pink and blue.

There was still some sunlight left and the pink & blue hues created a nice and relaxing view. The wind cooling you down as it drifts into the window. Barefoot on tile floors. The only footwear recommended in this heat.

A signal tower.
Fuzzy signal.

It has been a rough day and sitting down to unwind with a view like this is great. It might not be a view from The Montparnasse Tower but it’s still interesting to look at. And makes for a few good photos.

Thanks for reading : )

A quiet, isolated scene shaped by lingering cold and artificial light.
