A short ramble.

An apartment complex at night in the Randfontein area.
Complex at night – BTS version.

Another week finished. The first month of the new year at it’s very end.

I’ve wanted to get back onto the streets during the daytime to capture a few photos. It seems taking photos of the apartment complex has begun to create a comfortable means of doing something related to photography. No need to go out of my comfort zone.

I do have to add that my mornings aren’t really what I am used to. My poor time management is likely to blame. I could easily get out there half an hour earlier. Like I did the past two mornings. The motivating factor tends to be the desire to take photos in the mornings. To get back into the quiet, when no one is really awake. To explore – feel as if I am in uncharted territories. To experience the quiet of the mornings.

I’ve gone out early again over the past two mornings. The beaten path still feels the same. Quiet – great for photos. Something else I discovered (re-discovered) was the solitude. I miss this. It has always been my time to think, to solve problems in my head. To clear away the cobwebs and things which seem insurmountable.

tl;dr

Here are the photos I took:

Truck.
Marine biologist.
Zoo.
Sale.
