I was thinking about movie posters again.
At the beginning of the year I created four ‘posters’ based on four horror movies. Simple yet I like them. I enjoy adding words or phrases on images. It is also something which I like to photograph.
I started rummaging through Pinterest looking for a few more posters to serve as inspiration. Scream. Night of the Living Dead. Apocalypse Now. Saw. Silence of the Lambs. Looked through a ton of great posters.
The I spotted this image:
The reds and oranges. If you’ve watched the movie you’ll recognize this.
I captured a few more photos but on my Fujifilm recipe I pushed the color up to maximum (+2).
I added a little motion blur to this and I think it came out very well. In Snapseed I also played with the S-curve, the red channel, and it adds a red cast to the images.
As I’m writing this I have only made one image but I think I will work on the rest a bit more. Here is the first attempt at a ‘poster’ for A Space Oddyssey.
I’ll take a few more photos and add some more quotes to see what I can come up with.
