Printing your photos has a lot of benefits.
A physical copy of your work in your hand hits differently. It is something different to share. Everyone has their phone ready with their IG handle loaded. But how many people have a physical print of some of their work ready to share?
But if you’ve printed them what do you do with them apart from what I just mentioned?
The past few weeks have been better in terms of photography. I’ve taken more photos than I have during first 11 months of the year and the project I’m working on has inspired quite a lot.
There is a space right above my desk which I filled with some other images I’ve printed. Images which serve as inspiration mostly. And also I can’t really hang stuff against the walls which require a nail + hammer.
So I used some sticky tape and put up three images which I printed a while ago. As I look at them I feel more inspired. And being a person which tends to start with a bang but then run out of steam I hope these visuals will keep that little engine pumping steam. Adding more coals to the fire to continue the engine analogy.
